A house fire in Akron led to downed power lines on Saturday evening, prompting a swift response from emergency crews.
According to the Akron Fire Fighters Association Local 330, firefighters arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames. The fire occurred on the south side of Akron.
One of the challenges in battling the blaze was the presence of downed power lines, but FirstEnergy quickly handled the situation to ensure safety.
